Siren was the name of one of the female gladiators on the American television show, American Gladiators. She appeared on the show during its original run from 1989 to 1996. Siren's real name was Shelley Beattie and she was known for her muscular build and tattoos. She competed in various events on the show, including the Joust, Powerball, and Assault. After her time on American Gladiators, Beattie went on to become a professional bodybuilder and a motivational speaker, and she also appeared in several films and television shows. She passed away in 2008 at the age of 43 due to complications from pneumonia.
